CERAMIC ART IN DAILY LIFE Most people are familiar with traditional ceramics in the form of dishes, pots, and decorative items. However, in my past five years of engagement with young art entrepreneurs, I noticed that fewer than 5% venture into ceramic-based artistic creations. Compared to paper or digital mediums, ceramics require a more complex process—ranging from sculpting, glazing, and firing to quality control—but the results are often timeless and tactile. Personally, I enjoy collecting and using ceramic cups, containers, saucers, and dishes with unique artistic designs—like the one pictured here. You’d be surprised how often I stumble upon beautiful finds at Pasar Seni, Pasar Tani, and even bundle shops. I’m particularly drawn to floral motifs and warm-toned designs that bring both function and beauty to everyday life.
